Types of diamonds
Diamonds can be divided into two categories; lab-grown and natural.
At Millenium Diamonds, we don’t believe that man-made diamonds can emulate the true qualities of their natural counterparts. This is because they do not appreciate in value, can be easily created in unlimited quantities, and are not subject to the same supply limitations as natural diamonds.
Natural Diamonds
Natural diamonds are usually considered to be the timeless white, colourless stones that come to mind when we hear the word “diamond.” Fancy colour stones may also fall within this category, although they are extremely rare.
Artificial Diamonds
Artificial, or lab-grown, diamonds have risen in popularity in recent years as they’re considered a technological advancement in the industry. They can be manufactured without much trouble and thus acquired more cheaply than natural diamonds while still maintaining a high-quality and near-flawless resemblance.
